Sarah was sent my way by a hairdresser/makeup artist friend of mine. I assumed she was unavailable to take on this wedding, until I met Sarah to realise, that my style was ideal for her, as a non-makeup wearing bride. I love clients like Sarah. The challenge for me is having her feel comfortable throughout the whole process, while experiencing a professional make-up service.
Some brides have a really clear understanding of how they want to present, and others (like Sarah) have no idea just how beautiful they are. I aplied the minimum amount of makeup to Sarah to ensure it photographed beautifully, stayed all day and yet looked natural all while accentuating her features - beautiful eyes and those cheek bones! Everything about Sarah is understated and natural, so that was my approach to her make-up.
Sarah's sisters were her bridesmaids and the photo of them below in the church is one of my favourites to come out this year, captured by Florent Vidal http://www.fvidalphotography.com.au/
It perfectly captures the intensity of the day, not to mention, thier makeup is perfectly lit, strong yet soft. Which rounds out my commentary, Sarah; strong yet soft and a divine addition to the LittleFox client list. Wishing her every happiness in her married life.
